La Bamba Sazon Latino | Our Story
From our kitchen to your table
La Bamba Sazon Latino is a pan-Latin restaurant and market tucked along US-70 in Swannanoa — homemade food, honest prices, and everyone welcome at the table.
What sazón means
Sazón isn't a brand name — it's the deep-rooted Latin flavor instinct passed down through generations of cooks. Everything that leaves our kitchen carries it.
More than Mexican
Our menu spans Cuba, Honduras, Peru, Colombia, and Mexico — mole, Bandeja Paisa, molcajete, and fried plantains alongside the burritos and tacos you'd expect.
The dining room on US-70
Red vinyl booths, flags from across Latin America, and a self-serve salsa bar near the front — pick your own heat from a lineup of housemade salsas.
Restaurant and tienda
Walk past the dining room and you'll find our Latin market — stocked with ingredients and products that connect the community to home, wherever home may be.
A corner of Swannanoa
Construction crews and young families, longtime neighbors and first-time visitors — they all end up here, sitting elbow-to-elbow over good, affordable food. We're open every day, and there's always a seat for you.
